GIATA was established in Kassel in 1996 and now employs over 140 workers in its Berlin office. The shareholding partners are 3 German individuals and Sabre - Holdings (Dallas, USA).


Content Production and Distribution

As market leader, GIATA prepares digital text and image data for almost all well-known tour operators and travel agencies and from it creates ready-to-use applications for the web, smartphones and iPads. Among the almost 18,000 customers are renowned tour operators such as TUI, Thomas Cook, Rewe, FTI and  Alltours, all GDS and Internet booking engines such as Amadeus/Traveltainment, Sabre, Traffics and Travel-IT, and internationally known travel portals including Expedia, Unister, Opodo and Lastminute.com. 

Online Catalogue Compilation

With the GIATA Real-time Catalogue tour operators and incoming agents independently establish your data online. Within a few minutes, content is distributed to reservation systems, websites, television channels and all travel agency branches.

Market Research

In addition to the aforementioned applications, GIATA also offers customers GIATA Statistics. GIATA Statistics is a market research tool, which takes into account the current daily shifts in demand in the German market.

Translation Services

Since November 2004, GIATA has offered tourism-specialised Translation Services. Examples of GIATA's hotel texts and translations are presented on www.hotelbeds.com.

Multilingual Hotel Content

Since November 2006, GIATA GmbH has offered over 26,000 fluent hotel text descriptions (in 8 languages) as well as Fact Sheets (in a further 22 languages) and hotel images via XML. Examples of GIATA's Multilingual Hotel Content are presented on www.easyjet.com.
