Function
The GIATA CatPad presents over 1,000 printed travel catalogues of almost every notable tour operator in their original version in an iPad app with your corporate brand (branding: start screen, header and footer). Along with the processing of the catalogues, the creation of the app and the upload in the Apple App Store (including customised key words/tags for locating the app in the store), all catalogue updates and adjustments to new operating systems and model versions of the iPad are included.
Catalogues can selectively be entered into the app (download occurs with the app) or reloaded at any time by the user through extensive search and preview functions (search for travel destinations and tour operators and display of the first pages of the catalogue including the directory prior to the final download).
Catalogues loaded onto the app are presented with a preview of the cover, grouped according to tour operator and can be selected by tapping the cover. Index or full text search functions as well as direct selection of pages are available in the catalogue display. It can be viewed in single page mode (iPad held vertically) or in double page mode (iPad held horizontally). Furthermore, all current intuitive "gestures" associated with the iPhone such as scrolling, flipping through pages and zooming (with a pinch or tap) are also possible in the catalogues. The text is shown in high definition at any zoom level und all graphics are optimised to be displayed on the iPad.

By entering travel criteria such as the number of adults, the number of children, the length of stay and time period etc, current prices with vacancies* are indicated in the catalogue display for the offers on each of the given catalogue pages and can be directed to the booking procedure on your homepage with just a tap on the link. The booking procedure is opened within the app in the Safari browser on the hotel's page and therefore enables the client to book directly with their iPad.
For travel agency chains and cooperations we are happy to create a general app which can be customised by entering a code for each office.
