GIATA offers clients the possibility to integrate virtual travel catalogue pages into the GIATA Internet Hotel Guide, as well as present a Flip-Cat only reduced IHG on their own website. Flip-Cat includes a comprehensive selection of travel catalogues available on the market and in the GIATA HOTEL GUIDE, currently around 850. XML interfaces can additionally be requested for selective, individual catalogues. Each catalogue page is true to the original and provided as a PDF that may also be printed out. Each tour operator catalogue also features an interactive index, help options as well as bookmarks, zoom and shopping basket options.

NEW:Flip-Cat Pro

Increase your look-to-book ratio with the integrated search and book function. After the preferred travel period has been entered, current prices will be shown while flipping through the catalogue. With just one click visitors will be linked directly to your booking procedure where they can complete their booking. You can find an example of an integration here.

New languages are available: Find a list of the foreign language Flip-Cats currently available (English, French, Czech, Slovenian and Russian etc.)  here.

Optional

Flip-Cat may be upgraded to a bookable catalogue through the integration of an IBE. Customers may book package holidays in just 3 clicks.

Areas of application

Flip-Cat can be integrated onto the website of the travel agency or portals in three different ways:

a) in IHG
b) as a Flip-Cat-only Application and
c) via XML in a separate location on the website (i.e. as eyecatcher)

Advantages

Paper catalogues are practically superfluous, since each page is displayed true to the original. Customers preferring catalogues are, as before, able to leaf through the original catalogue in peace and book immediately. Normally, customers booking through the catalogue are not able to select by price but according to (the higher-priced) appearance.

Requirements

A company website is necessary along with access to IHG.
